Nancy & John Lingemann

Nancy is a professional Spanish and Flamenco dancer, has 35 years of experience teaching dance, and has been a soloist and member of the dance company Arte Flamenco de San Jose since its inception in 1992.

John and Nancy have danced continuously since meeting in college years ago, and have been dancing tango seriously since 1993. Ardent believers in the community approach to tango, they have voluntarily hosted our Wednesday night práctica since 2001.John and Nancy have performed tangos in local shows at Henry Mello Theater with Tandy Beal's Company and a benefit show for WomenCare. They perform in various benefits for the arts in Santa Cruz and Carmel. In February, 2006 they danced at a benefit for the Santa Cruz County Symphony, and will dance for the fourth time at Gary Ibsen's benefit event, the Carmel TomatoFest at Quail Lodge on September 9th.
